Brenda Hernandez

Brenda has worked in the Food & Beverage department at Ballyneal for a number of years after being introduced to the club by her father who works in the maintenance department. Brenda is a first-generation American and will be the first person in her family to attend and graduate college (University of North Colorado). She has had a great year (3.4 GPA) since winning the Scholarship. We have awarded her a 2017 grant so that she can attend business programs this summer in Slovenia. She will graduate in 2018.

Chad Steinhauer

Chad works as a caddie and in outside services at Eugene Country Club and is now attending the University of Oregon. His employment at ECC and the relationships he has made through caddying have changed the trajectory of his life. He was a strong student in high school as well as a decorated athlete. The scholarship will help him afford college after a number of personal and family heath issues. He has a 3.3 GPA and is majoring in Finance. He has been accepted into a Leadership Program this summer at a local accounting firm. He will graduate in 2018

Joshua Drakeford

Josh was born and raised in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Throughout his high school career, he attended class sessions with the First Tee of the Sandhills and became an experienced caddy. In 2016, he worked full-time at The Country Club of North Carolina as the evening outdoor operations supervisor. Once he completes his associates degree at Sandhills Community College, he will transfer to a 4 year university to study Finance & Political Science. Josh continues to work at CCNC while studying full time.

Alexxis Rae Langton

Alexxis attends Duquesne University in the Physician Assistant Program. She was inspired to pursue that vocation after a severe illness affected a family member. She is the Vice President of her Class Council and is also in Phi Eta Sigma, PKE, and the Physician Assistant Student Association. She caddies and is a bag attendant at Allegheny Country Club. Alexxis has a 3.89 GPA and was recently inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success. 

 

Daniell D'Ambrosio

Danielle is a non-traditional student at Northeastern Illinois. She left home at seventeen and has been working ever since. She worked as a receptionist at Green Acres Country Club outside of Chicago. She is currently attending college with the ultimate goal of becoming an elementary school teacher.
