The Caveman Scholarship is hosted through the Outpost Foundation and is pleased to award an academic scholarship to eligible employees and immediate family members of the clubs who have worked with Caveman Construction.
Eligibility
Students who meet the following criteria are eligible for the scholarship. The student must:
Have been employed by a club that has worked with Caveman Construction and been employed full-time for two (2) or more months during the prior year’s operating season OR be an “immediate” family member of an employee at one of these clubs.
Be considered a student in good standing (with a suggested grade point average of 2.75 or above) and is enrolled full-time in high-school, has graduated from high school or has obtained their US GED at the time of application (attach transcripts or official record); OR is enrolled full-time as a college student at the undergraduate level with a minimum grade point average of 2.5 at the time of application (attach transcripts or official record) OR is enrolled in an accredited mechanical or technical trade school.
Application Process
Application materials must be received by June 16, 2023 in order to be considered for the upcoming academic year. The following materials need to be submitted by the application deadline:

One letter of reference or recommendation from a supervisor at your club or the immediate family member’s club.
Transcript OR Letter of Acceptance at an accredited 4-year college/ university or 2-year community college OR proof of enrollment in a mechanical or technical trade school program.
Optional – A short video or letter introducing the applicant, sharing a little bit about his or her life.
Selection Process
The Caveman Scholarship committee, along with the Outpost Foundation’s scholarship committee, will determine the recipients of the scholarships based on application materials provided. All scholarship applicants will be notified of the joint committee’s decision by mid-July, 2023.
Award
An annual stipend payable directly to the recipient for help in funding their studies will be awarded as follows:
We will be giving away four scholarships to four individuals enrolled in an accredited college OR enrolled in a mechanical or trade school.
The first scholarship will be in the amount of $12,000 for 1 year.
The second scholarship will be in the amount of $10,000 for 1 year.
The third scholarship will be in the amount of $5,000 for 1 year.
The fourth scholarship will be in the amount of $3,000 for 1 year.
